Procurement Manager
We are seeking an innovative and experienced Procurement Manager to develop and execute our Global Supply Chain Strategy. Based in the B:Hive in Smales Farm, this is a green fields role you can shape as your own. You’ll be part of a creative team that is purpose led and values driven, with the ability to immediately add value and make an impact on the business strategy.
In this role you will:
- Set up a procurement function and research new suppliers to onboard
- Manage multi geographical suppliers whilst building strong and lasting partnerships
- Onboard new suppliers and support with supplier led audits
- Contract management with current and new suppliers
- Effective project management, including mitigating against risks and optimising all aspects of cost management
- Be the conduit to innovation bringing thought leadership to the internal Novelli team and suppliers
About you:
You’ll be passionate about procurement as well as the process of finding new suppliers that provide high quality bespoke merchandise. You will have previous experience in working with complex and multi geographical supply chains with at least 4 years’ experience as a Procurement Manager. You enjoy the challenge of managing the tension between a highly bespoke innovative product and creating supply chain efficiencies.
- You’re a creative procurement specialist with a drive to source high quality products whilst managing the procurement process.
- You’re not phased by the challenge of building a supply chain that can supply bespoke products.
- You will have previous experience in negotiating supplier contracts and on-boarding suppliers.
- You’re naturally strong at planning, have great attention to detail and enjoy taking a structured approach to your work.
- You have a thirst for learning and you’re looking for an opportunity to grow as the business grows.
- You’re commercially savvy and negotiate contracts whilst ensuring alignment to the Novelli strategy and brand.
- You’re naturally curious to understand others and you make connections with your team and customers with ease.
